ECAT - After School Care in Miramar
It's all GO from 3:00pm-6:00pm
A soon as 3:00pm rolls around, we start with some awesome afternoon tea to keep our kids going. We have the amazing Miramar and Maupuia Community Centre to base our activities out from. That includes the park and play ground at the back of the centre, with loads of space for football, games and heaps of running around.
"ECAT is a fun place for kids. There are always cool activities going on. I go to WBS so I'm normally picked up by the new Tranzit bus. We also have quiet time to do homework or read". - Ollie Yr 5 2018.
ECAT - School Holiday Programme
Games, the Beach, Arts/Crafts, Cooking, Movies at the Roxy...
We have it all at ECAT. Miramar has so much to offer locally, but we don't just stop here. If we're not at the beach or the local Roxy Movie theatre catching the hottest kids movie in town, we're probably cooking up a storm at home base.
"Come to ECAT because we will take your children and play games.... we get to play LEGO and K'NEX.. we go to the Zoo, Swimming Pools, Rec Centre and beach.. And if you want to come ask your parents and by the way my name is Connor".
Holiday Programme hours are 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p,m..
Both our After School Programmes and Holiday Programmes are OSCAR Approved. Working closely with the Minisrty of Social Development, there are a range of options open to parents who need support. To find out more about OSCAR and potential subsidies open to you, click the button below.
ECAT Transport
From 2015, ECAT only uses professional driving services to pick our kids up from school.
With our role the biggest it has ever been, we have switched to Tranzit New Zealand as our preferred supplier of transport services.
Tranzit have proven to be the most cost effective and the safest option for getting our kids to ECAT.
Pickups between 3:00pm and 3:20pm see all of our kids onsite by 3:30pm. If you have any queries relating to the ECAT Transport Policy, please let us know.
