New 2IC!
Important Announcement - 17th of March
We have just had the confirmation booking of the premises come back to us. On Tuesday the 17th of March, there will be NO ECAT. We apologise immensely for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, the premises has had a prior booking so we are unable to open on this day.
Invoices
All invoices for term one will be sent out very shortly, we have just been getting together all last-minute enrolments and sorting out extra days for the schools who were impacted by holiday programme. You shall receive official invoices within the next few days.
Devices at ECAT
Now that the school term has started again, we want to reinforce ECAT's devices policies. We know that many kids will have devices on them when they come to ECAT, especially with many school's requiring kids to do their homework online.
Kid's are only permitted to use their devices during the period of 5-5.30pm unless there is an emergency and they have permission from a supervisor.
A reminder that there is Wifi at the centre building but under NO circumstance are any of the kids allowed access to the Wifi.
ZERO Tolerance for Bullying
We hope that this is the first and last message we send out on this subject. After some nasty behaviour which took place during the holiday programme we want to reinforce that we have absolutely ZERO TOLERANCE for bullying of ANY kind at ECAT and these matters will be taken VERY seriously.
ECAT is a safe, inclusive and open environment with a diverse range of people who come from many different backgrounds which we LOVE. Any kind of discrimination or derogatory behaviours which reflect homophobic, racist or sexist discrimination will not be tolerated and will be handled appropriately.
As our amazing kids grow up and enter the world they will encounter lots of different people and we want to set an example early on in their lives of kindness, respect and inclusivity of everyone.
If you have any concerns about any of this, please feel free to contact us.
